The observatory in New York generates an immersive environment in which visitors can experience the views of the city multiplied endlessly in its mirrored floors and ceilings.
The immersive four-level observatory Summit One Vanderbilt houses an art installation by Kenzo Digital, a mirrored experience that multiplies the views of New York city with infinite perspectives. Titled Air, the installation invites visitors to look inwards the observatory where the image of New York is reflected endlessly.
Floating 324 meters above Madison Avenue, the observatory is composed of glass floors and ceilings. Together with mirrored surfaces the space generates an almost surreal atmosphere where the city and its reflection become one.
