The Invisible House, located in a desert in Joshua Tree, California reflects its exterior environment while offering an oasis inside.
Designer Tomas Osinsk and Los Angeles film producer Chris Hanley have collaborated to realize a mirrored building in the desert. Replicating the views of the surrounding nature, the building offers rental spaces for filming, photography and events. The long horizontal structure is cladded with reflective tempered glass and sits on cylindrical concrete columns.
The 511 sqm building is composed of four bedrooms, a wide living room with an indoor pool, and a kitchen well equipped for catered events. The interior space can be extended out to desert landscape through sliding glass doors on the west side of the facade.
